Voice Changer: Transcription Time

The credits utilised for the Voice Changer Tool to transcribe and convert pre-recorded audio files into any of Murf's professional voices are referred to as Transcription Time.

This credit is deducted from your total allotted time, based on the duration of the audio or video file uploaded for conversion to an AI voice.

Example

When uploading an audio file, the duration of the entire file will be used for transcription, regardless of the amount of speech present.

For example, if you upload a file that is 4 minutes and 36 seconds long, and 2 minutes and 15 seconds of that time contains speech, the transcription time consumed will still be 4 minutes and 36 seconds.

After transcription, Murf's AI voices will convert the script, and only the duration of the speech present (approximately 2 minutes and 15 seconds) will be deducted from your Voice Generation Time quota.

  • It's important to note that it will consume both your accounts Transcription Time and Voice Generation Time (VGT).
  • This is because the audio or video file must first be transcribed, with the transcription time being dependent on the duration of the entire uploaded file.
  • Once the script has been transcribed, it will then be automatically converted to one of Murf's AI voices. This conversion process requires the consumption of your Voice Generation Time (VGT).
