## Falcon 2.1 Model Launch

Falcon 2.1 is now live on [Stream Speech](/api/docs/api-reference/text-to-speech/stream) and [WebSockets](/api/docs/api-reference/text-to-speech/stream-input).

* **More natural voice quality** across languages and voices.
* **Lower time to first spoken word**, as benchmarked independently by Coval.
* **Fewer artifacts and hallucinations**, with more consistent loudness between responses.
* **Exact pronunciation control** through inline IPA or a [pronunciation dictionary](/api/docs/text-to-speech/speech-customization#pronunciations), on both Stream Speech and WebSockets.
* **More languages and voices** in the [Voice Library](/api/docs/voices-styles/voice-library).

Send `model: "falcon-2.1"` to use it. The earlier identifiers `falcon-2`, `falcon2` and `FALCON` keep working and now use Falcon 2.1, so existing integrations upgrade without code changes.
